The Director of Risk Management (DRM) supports the PeaceHealth Mission through System-wide leadership of a planned and systematic process to enhance continuous improvement of patient care services in a safe healthcare environment, to protect the human and financial assets of PeaceHealth against the adverse effects of accidental losses, and to effectively manage losses that might occur.

The Director of Risk Management serves in a highly independent function, leading and providing oversight of PeaceHealth's risk management program including risk identification, risk control, risk financing and claims management. This position ensures the effective functioning of the risk management process at each operating entity by providing strategic direction, coordination of goals and efforts, leading change and providing opportunities for interaction among the regional risk managers.
